Zsofia Lakatos managing director
As Managing Director, Zsofia is responsible for strategic planning, excellent professional service, daily management of the agency and the overall performance of Emerald Public Relations Hungary. She serves as Senior Consultant on special regional projects.
Zsofia started her career as a reporter for RTL News. She worked as Director of Capital Communications, the leading financial communications agency in Hungary and a part of the Huntsworth Group for 8 years. She served as Managig Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies for over 7 years.
Zsofia studied PR in the College for Foreign Trade and at California State University Northridge. She holds an MBA in Management. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She is the President of the Hungarian Public Relations Association and a board member of the Superbrands Committee.
Zsofia an internationally acknowledged CSR-expert, a frequent lecturer at conferences on the topic. Her book „Corporate Social Performance in Emerging Markets” was published in July 2013 in London. In November 2013 she was named the first „Professional Ambassador of Sustainability in Hungary”.
Zsolt Mayer senior consultant
Zsolt comes from an FMCG background, he spent 22 years at Mars Hungary management in several positions such as sales, HR and the last 14 years as Corporate Affairs Director.
He has strong strategic experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Crisis Management and CSR activities. He studied Foreign Trade and holds MS Management degree from the Oxford Brookes University. He is fluent in English.
He used to be Head of Communication in the Brussels based Petfood Manufacturers Association last 5 years. Since 2010 he is elected twice as Vice-President of the Hungarian PR Association. He loves travelling and he has already been in 68 countries as his Tripadvisor account history shows.
Veronika Földes project manager
Veronika is responsible for media relations at the company. She liaises with journalists, organizes events and prepares executive summaries of daily news.
Early in her career, Veronika was Assistant and then Project Manager at Capital Communications, the then leading financial communications agency in Hungary. Her references include clients like MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas, Vienna Capital Partners, Stadler Rail, Budapest Bank, Oppenheim Law Office, Provident Financial, Raiffeisen Private Equity Management, Brokernet.
Moving along from Capital Communications, she served for two years as Communications Manager of BDO Hungary.
Veronika graduated from the Budapest College of Communications.
Helga Vízer junior account executive
Her tasks as PR consultant are enhancing the client’s brand and reputation, its relationship with stakeholders with the help of different communication tools.
Helga started her career as a reporter at a local TV channel in Komárom. After two years she was engaged by Axel Springer Magyarország Kiadó Kft. to be a journalist and editor at the leading daily newspaper in Komárom-Esztergom county, called 24 Hours. Later she moved to Axel Springer’s central editorial office in Budapest to edit articles in public life related topics at a weekly newspaper, called Sunday Morning.
In 2008 she joined the on-line division of the firm being responsible for woman related contents. She wrote, edited articles and posted them on portals of Glamour, Kiskegyed and Nana.hu. Her tasks included updating news several times a day, publishing articles in topics such as science, health, beauty, fashion, gastro, moms&babies. She wrote articles as blogger in these topics as well.
Helga graduated at the University of West Hungary, Faculty of communications and cultural manager with Honours.
She speaks English and German.
David Vincze junior account executive
David Vincze is a young expert in the field of Public Relations, but as his studies shows he is totally committed for the Public Relations profession. With his ambition, creativity, and dynamism he is a valuable team member of Emerald Public Relations.
David obtained his BSC diploma in Business Administration, and a post-graduated diploma in Public Relations and Communications at Metropolitan Univeristy of Budapest, and a MSC diploma in Marketing at Corvinus University.
Previously David worked at Professional Publishing Hungary, where he was an marketing assistant at Üzlet&Pszichologia magazine. He gained a lot of experience here in marketing and communication. But during his studies, at Corvinus University David acquired experience creating creative campaigns, and giving communications advises to different brands. David has experience in the task of sportmarketing, because in his free time he is an editor at Sportsmarketing Hungary.
David is a very dynamic person. His main interest is sport, sportmarketing and sport pr, and he gets his motivation and inspiration from creative and unique examples. He has an advanced language exam in English.
Erika Bertalan account executive
Erika who recently joined Emerald PR started her communications career as a journalist for a local daily where she was both writing articles and taking photos. Later, she also did editorial work.
She moved from journalism to PR after completing a course in PR. She joined the team of leading communications agency Capital Communications as a media monitoring expert in 2006.
During the years spent with CC, she was also working as project assistant and project manager for major customers such as AAA Auto, EDF Hungary, AXA Bank and Aegondirekt.hu.
From 2016 Erika works for The Hungarian Public Relations Association (HuPRA) as a secretary.
