Zsofia Lakatos managing director
As Managing Director, Zsofia is responsible for strategic planning, excellent professional service, daily management of the agency and the overall performance of Emerald Public Relations Hungary. She serves as Senior Consultant on special regional projects.
Zsofia started her career as a reporter for RTL News. She worked as Director of Capital Communications, the leading financial communications agency in Hungary and a part of the Huntsworth Group for 8 years. She served as Managig Director of Hill+Knowlton Strategies for over 7 years.
Zsofia studied PR in the College for Foreign Trade and at California State University Northridge. She holds an MBA in Management. She is fluent in English and Spanish. She is the President of the Hungarian Public Relations Association and a board member of the Superbrands Committee.
Zsofia an internationally acknowledged CSR-expert, a frequent lecturer at conferences on the topic. Her book „Corporate Social Performance in Emerging Markets” was published in July 2013 in London. In November 2013 she was named the first „Professional Ambassador of Sustainability in Hungary”.
Zsolt Mayer senior consultant
Zsolt comes from an FMCG background, he spent 22 years at Mars Hungary management in several positions such as sales, HR and the last 14 years as Corporate Affairs Director.
He has strong strategic experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Crisis Management and CSR activities. He studied Foreign Trade and holds MS Management degree from the Oxford Brookes University. He is fluent in English.
He used to be Head of Communication in the Brussels based Petfood Manufacturers Association last 5 years. Since 2010 he is elected twice as Vice-President of the Hungarian PR Association. He loves travelling and he has already been in 68 countries as his Tripadvisor account history shows.
Veronika Földes senior account
Veronika is responsible for media relations at the company. She liaises with journalists, organizes events and prepares executive summaries of daily news.
Early in her career, Veronika was Assistant and then Project Manager at Capital Communications, the then leading financial communications agency in Hungary. Her references include clients like MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas, Vienna Capital Partners, Stadler Rail, Budapest Bank, Oppenheim Law Office, Provident Financial, Raiffeisen Private Equity Management, Brokernet.
Moving along from Capital Communications, she served for two years as Communications Manager of BDO Hungary.
Veronika graduated from the Budapest College of Communications.
Andrea Dintsér senior consultant
Andrea has 20+ year experience in marketing, corporate communications and knowledge management as an executive leader in multinational companies at country, CEE and EMA levels with PwC and KPMG (1995-2017).
Recently, she has been an advisor on these areas including account based marketing, full production process of market surveys, digital communications including social media, PR, change management, and employer branding as the Founder and CEO of YourStory.hu
Andrea is a member of United Way’s Marketing Committee, and a moderator of the Hungarian Entrepreneurs’ Business Club (Magyar Vállalatvezetők Üzleti Közössége, MVÜK). Also, she has been the strategic outreach leader of the Women/Business/Angels Association.
A passionate believer of the innovative and blitz scaling startup world. One of the mentors of an educational program that lead GenZ through the process of design thinking, lean idea/product development, rapid prototyping, market validation, business model canvas preparation, outlining the communication strategy, and pitch practice. Trainer team member for the startups participating in Microsoft Imagine Cup. Provides consultancy before investor pitches to startup companies to enter the market and help them grow. She joined the mentor team of Design Terminal in 2018.
She has been actively participating in the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum’s (HBLF) Y-Generation Mentoring Program, and its Digital Working Group.
Dalma Vörös junior account
Dalma works as a Junior Account at Emerald Public Relations Hungary. She is passionate about communication and takes every chance to further improve her communication skills.
Dalma studied at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary. She has a BA degree in English Studies. Thanks to these inspiring years at Károli, she acquired an extensive knowledge of the English language, translation techniques, and philosophy.
She enjoys working in international environment, so she did an Erasmus internship in Porto, Portugal.
In her view, Public Relations represents coherence, effective communication and support. She is an optimistic, energetic, and dedicated person, who believes in lifelong learning.
Zsófia Arany Junior account manager
Zsofia attended to the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She is already studing communication and media studies in which she has specialized to international and business communication, and she is writing her projekt about CSR communication.
Zsófia joined to Tibor Liska Collage and Advanced Studies which is running in BME-GTK and she’s an active member ever since and currently she is the leader of the PR team, and also a member of the presidency.
She started her career as a hostess, promoting famous brands in big shopping malls for almost two years. She gained a lot of experience through this job in connection with client specified services.
Szabolcs Kovács senior consultant
Szabolcs supports Emerald PR as consultant on special projects.
He acquired his German skills in Vienna where he spent his high school years. While earning a degree at the College of Public Administration in Budapest Szabolcs realized he had an interest in PR and marketing and pursued this education at the Pázmány Peter Catholic university.
Szabolcs began his professional career by organising Europa Express and several other conferences. By making and editing promotional films for events and hotels, he moved into the world of PR films and the entertainment business.
Szabolcs has extensive experience working as a freelancer in PR and marketing across various projects, with duties spanning work as a project manager, web or sales brochure translator, and always with a focus on helping a client achieve better sales performance and user experience. These work experiences allowed him to form the NaviPro communications team in Berlin and later work as the communications executive for Alexia Broker in Hungary.
Recently, Szabolcs’s experience with film producing and copyright allowed him to assist with the production of more than 200 career guidance film made for the Hungarian Ministry of Economy.
Erika Bertalan account executive
Erika who recently joined Emerald PR started her communications career as a journalist for a local daily where she was both writing articles and taking photos. Later, she also did editorial work.
She moved from journalism to PR after completing a course in PR. She joined the team of leading communications agency Capital Communications as a media monitoring expert in 2006.
During the years spent with CC, she was also working as project assistant and project manager for major customers such as AAA Auto, EDF Hungary, AXA Bank and Aegondirekt.hu.
From 2016 Erika works for The Hungarian Public Relations Association (HuPRA) as a secretary.
